Andy Rebmann

Andy Rebmann is an honorary member of NDSD, having retired from active disaster search with the group. He has been involved in search work and K-9 training since 1972. He is a retired trainer for Connecticut State Police and has trained K-9 teams for patrol, narcotics, explosive, arson, wilderness, water, disaster and cadaver work. Since retiring in 1991, he has conducted numerous seminars, schools and workshops throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Japan. He is a consultant to law enforcement agencies and continues to participate in cadaver searches nationwide. He has responded to the Windsor Locks tornado (1978), Connecticut River floods (1984), L’Ambiance Building collapse (1987), and Hamden-New Haven tornado (1990), among others. Andy is the former training director and past president of Northwest Disaster Search Dogs.
